Royal Lake Resort No. 2, (aka) Royal Lake, an Unincorporated Town is underdeveloped. 2007 marks the area’s 50th year, since establishment and has been left behind by standards of improvement. Poverty, unemployment, and abandonment have led to disinvestment in the area as well as a lack of direction and drive to move the community ahead.

This beautiful land once the vision of Mr. Seymour Goodman, Owner should not be forgotten. One half century ago was a beginning, and that one half century today shall not be an end. Therefore, we challenge our citizens to revitalize Royal Lake Resort No. 2. Clinton County 62231
We seek the development of the "Special District," to operate the sanitation system. The board would consist of one member appointed from each of the Townships and two residents from Royal Lake. We consider this a fair proposal as it would create a free standing and permanent board structure necessary for oversight of the sanitation system. In addition We propose Carlyle South West PWD serving as the billing agent.
